The set covers a five-year timeframe that encompasses several different band lineups, from founding members Fleetwood, Green, McVie and Spencer; to later additions like Danny Kirwan, Christine McVie, Dave Walker, Bob Welch, and Bob Weston. - The collection includes seven studio albums: Then Play On (1969), Kiln House (1970), Future Games (1971), Bare Trees (1972), Penguin (1973), Mystery To Me (1973), and Heroes Are Hard To Find (1974). The CD set concludes with an unreleased recording of the band’s December 15, 1974 concert at The Record Plant in Sausalito, California.     Oh Well....

    Great set of much needed re-masters from the pre-Stevie/Lindsey era Mac. That being said, I was very disappointed that the enclosed "booklet" had a page for each album merely listing the song titles for each release. No info or insight into the myriad of personnel changes (or the recordings themselves) during this period. If you didn't already know about this era you will enjoy the music, but don't expect to get ANY info about the band or the recordings! Oh Well.....

    Fleetwood Mac Great pre Buckingham/Nicks era

    This is an awesome collection of albums released before Buckingham and Nicks successful contributions. Bob Welch had a lot to do with relocating the band to America and these recordings are just as good just different from the songs that radio stations wore out. It even includes a live recording. Your FM collection is not complete without it

    Love the bonus tracks, and the mastering...

    Love the bonus tracks, and the mastering is top notch sound quality. With such great musicianship, it's hard to believe Fleetwood Mac couldn't find greater success prior to 1975.
