I loved the product it shipped very fast and was easy to track. The product itself is in very good condition and is described as mentioned. Item was as described. Packaging left a lot to be desired, item was placed loose is original box with a small amount of butcher paper and multiple loose pieces. I could hear the items shaking around when I picked up the package. Luckily nothing was damaged but for the price paid I would have appreciated better care being taken. Shipping speed was a little slow but nothing terrible.

I have to admit I love Star Wars and I'm in my mid forties so I felt a little funny buying a toy but it is very fun, suitable for any age even those like me. Has a very long battery life I have had to charge it very rarely. There are 2 apps that are very similar to operate the droid and I went with the second of the two (not just bb8 app but droid app) I just found it to be more easy to operate and had the features I wanted, doesn't have voice command but that is not important to me. One downfall which I wish I would have known is that the bb8 does not have the option of human interaction like the other droids the app just does not support it like it does all the others so that may have made me think twice about getting the bb8I have to admit I love Star Wars and I'm in my mid forties so I felt a little funny buying a toy but it is very fun, suitable for any age even those like me. Or use the Sphero EDU app. I did not know these had been not just discontinued but the apps have been completely removed from both the Google play store and the Apple store. That is rather lame actually, for an item that cost as much as this did when it was new. Apple apps cannot be reinstalled into an iPhone after the app itself has been deleted from the App Store so that is really a problem. I found an older version of the Sphero droids app and I am able to control the droid somewhat with that. Despite these small issues I wanted this and I can use it to a certain extent however with the older app it has a problem remaining connected to the phone. Samsung galaxy. Items like these should not be produced with planned obsolescence in mind that is a bad mark on the Sphero company because ... I don’t recommend getting one of these unless you have pre-installed the droids app into your android and have been able to obtain all of the assets which usually come in an external OBB file that you can place in the proper folder when you get the droid. Sometimes however it does not acknowledge the OBB file and it will continue looking for the assets online and they do not exist online as Spiro has taken them down so the app just kind of spins around unless you preload the assets. That’s the only really bad thing about these that I can think of otherwise they are remarkable little replicas and they move around exactly like the little guy does in the that’s the only really bad thing about these that I can think of otherwise they are remarkable little replicas and they move around exactly like the little guy does in the movie… Unfortunately the one that I found on eBay was shipped with a fairly dead battery… and although it is possible to replace the batteries in these things, it is very difficult to open the case and get to the batteries. Look on YouTube for the procedure. I just ordered a set of batteries and other things I need to get the sphere opened up. I hope ot have this working soon@

Purchased for my 9 year old son, and he loves it. It rolls very well on wood and tile floors and standard carpet, but it gets stuck in the thicker bath mats. Overall, it is really cool and fun to control.

Toy for a 40 year old
I bought this for my son's 41st birthday. He immediately downloaded the app and wanted to try it out. However, with 4 dogs in the house he didn't that was a good idea.

The droid looks brand new and battery life seems to still be usable. It did not include a droid trained or a charging cable but it is not a big problem, overall I am satisfied with the purchase.
