  • very helpful

My husband works for free with people who have addiction and homeless issues, many of his friends live with codependency as well. This workbook will help us to help them as they can not afford to see a mental health professional...they're homeless. We have seen that just because someone stops their addiction doesn't mean their problems are over.

  • Powerful book

It gripped me from the intro and opened my eyes to what I hadn't been seeing, the actions I take that hold myself and my family back. Great material!

  • Great resource for learning more productive behaviors. Explains how we become codependent and gives strategies how to escape it.

Classic book by Melody Beattie, the woman who brought the term and idea of codependence to light. The book is readable and there are pages to write in your responses as you practice more productive ways to approach interactions with difficult people.
