''LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY''- THE COMPLETE 8TH AND FINAL SEASON
Laverne and Shirley say FAREWELL as the 8th season ends the series. Cindy Williams only appeared in 2 episodes and rode off into the sunset as her fictional character Shirley gets married and moves out. The rest of the cast finished the season and the series and moved on to other projects. Sadly, the majority of the main cast passed away. Cindy Williams passed away this pass January. The only main cast member who is still living is actor Micheal Mckean who portrayed the fictional character Lenny. Everyone who starred in this series will always be remembered best for this great series.

NOT A BAD FINISH TO A CLASSIC
I had read so many negative reviews about this last season but there are some very good episodes in here. The fact that the secondary characters have the chance to shine on their own is proof that this was a quality show with or without Shirley OR Laverne. Some had written that the characters seemed to be hanging around only for their paycheck, but I found that Penny Marshal was the one doing that in about the last 4 episodes. I still am glad that I bought it to complete my collection. This was true comedy before political correctness ruined good humor.
