Excellent metal handle with grips made to last. 
I love the heaviness of this handle. I had no clue that I would? I am 56 years old and yes this is important. Why? I have been buying razors and handles most all my life. I actually have a monthly subscription for a popular razor brand. As cute and convenient as this monthly subscription is… I just stopped the subscription. Maybe because I am becoming older :-( Unfortunately, the inevitable of thinning skin, areas around my ankles, etc. I am weekly receiving a nip or a light cut even with a fresh blade. After trying this Gillette Venus Metal Handle with the Deluxe Smooth Platinum and Swirl Blade… I shockingly have a better grip and extra control of the handle. Zero nips or cuts as to date.
