    Confidence

    It took me a little while to find the heavy and lite side of the tire, but once I did. It balanced nicely. On the road this tire feels planted. Very nice in the corners as well. It's not that warm right now here in southern California to see how they handle the oil snakes on the back roads but the lines on the highway seem non existent. I have only put 300 miles on this rear tire and I'm running a almost worn out E3 front tire. Once I wear the front out I am certainly going to buy the matching front tire. Great tire, buy it , you will love it. Now we see how many miles I will get out of it.

    so far so good.

    tried myself to set the bead but it was real hard becz I didn't have the high air pressure like the last shop did. and they used tire grease a lot of tire grease. it took 2 shops to get this bead to set. my bike is a 2008 flhtcu stock rims. once on it was looking good. I went on a 600 miles ride and the tire preform real good. I am interested in finding out if its a high mileage tire like it says.

    Seating the bead on my Michelin commander 2.

    I had a brand new 9 spoke Harley wheel and a brand new Michelin commander 2. I could not get the tire bead to seat on the rim. Finally I to the wheel and tire to Kaufman’s tire to see if they could seat the bead. They tried blasting air in at the rim. They tried putting a ratchet strap around it.They could not get it to seat. I took it home and put it on with ether and a match. No, I don’t encourage anyone to do this, I just ran out of patience. Was the problem the wheel, was it the tire? I don’t know.

    This is by far the best wearing tire I have ever had on my bike , over 14,000 on rear of Harley touring . This will be my 3rd one . 2002 FLHTPI with 113,000 miles and counting .
