Great overview of CKC from the early to mid 20th century
This collection has been expertly assembled and beautifully transferred. There are a few errors in recording dates but otherwise the accompanying booklet is very informative. Each selection is given a full biographical background. Great care was taken in the transfers. The sound should not detract anyone from enjoying the recordings despite many of the acoustical era recordings. With several of these sets given to my parents and friends who are elderly and Yiddish speaking, they "kvell" (are delighted) in hearing these recordings in such good sound. FIVE STARS for this anthology. Highly recommended. I have 3500 CKC 78 and LP recordings so it takes a lot to impress me.
