Polish mirrors and glass with this cerium oxide polishing compound by Technologylk. This compound acts quickly to remove scratches from the surface of a mirror or pane of glass. This compound also works to remove scuff marks that have marred the surface of glass or mirrors. It can be paired with a felt polishing wheel for efficiency. You add the correct amount of water with the cerium oxide powder to make a paste to remove scratches.

    The package arrived nicely. The items were as described. The problem? It was from Amazon. The seller bought the item from Amazon and had it drop shipped to me. I went to Amazon and they had the item at a reduced price. I guess that is the price to pay for not checking Amazon first. Oh, well.

    REALLY works ...

    Mixing cerium oxide in baby oil, I used it to micro-polish lathe friction-bearing surfaces (ways, cross-slide, compound tool rest etc.). This followed doing the same thing with silicon-carbide grit in baby oil. One can feel the surface machined roughness disappearing by the stroke. It only takes a few minutes of rubbing the parts back & forth. `works fantastically. The saddle/carriage slid so smoothly, I could push it with the palm of my hand and just watch the carriage wheel spin. REALLY nice ... Afterwards, adjusting the gibs is easier i.e. more consistent friction, too. Especially until mixed with baby oil, be careful to wear a face mask because, if either silicon-carbide or cerium oxide dust gets airborne and into your lungs, it will NEVER degrade or leave ... and would ...

    Pitless Windshield

    This stuff id great. I used a terry cloth on my Orbital Buffer put some water on it, then sprinkled on the Powder. I took my time going up and down and the back and forth. I would stop for a few min. let it dry and then go over it again with out adding any powder. Spent 30 min on each side and got most of the little pits that show up when a Car is coming at you at night that causes glare. The Car has 170,000 miles on it and the Windshield looks great! It is great stuff and I also used it to get scratches off of my GPS screen.

    gem polish

    I bought that for stone cutting. it ain't exactly my trade, more like a hobby but my research led me to this stuff for the final stages. after cutting to the desired shape I used this product to obtain a shiny polish. It works like a charm. if you too are cutting stones, this will prove useful to you, it's inexpensive and it lasts long if you use it correctly. would recommend it to anyone planning to use it for the purpose of stone cutting

    Cerium Oxide is Great Stuff!

    This Cerium Oxide is top quality. I polished the windshield on my 2009 Cadillac CTS with amazing results. Bye bye wiper scratches. I highly recommend this product!

    Polishing Agate

    Good quality cerium oxide is getting harder to get at a competitive price, I cut cabs and tumble lots of agates and jaspers. The end result was a mirror glass polish. The color of this cerium is a darker orange than I am used to and was skeptical of its grade quality. Finishing a tumble gave me great results and I have a new reasonable price source of cerium. Go for it!
