    The Perfect Transdermal Patch Cover

    How to tell the difference between Tegaderm 1626 center adhesive and center non adhesive window. This is confusing as they both share the q626 product number. 20 years ago I found the foolproof method that has never failed. Look at the drawing/picture of the patch. One shows a clear plain window. This has the non adhesive center for cover IV ports etc. The 1626 that shows paper being peeled off the center window area has the adhesive center for a waterproof covering of morphine or other transdermal patches that have stopped sticking for the 3 to 10 day period. I also found the best way to get an air tight adhesion is to: 1. Clean your skin with alchohol. 2. Allow it to dry without touching the skin. 3. Apply your medication patch and use a dry flat surface (Tegaderm box works ...

    These dressings limit scar formation and support skin regrowth

    These dressings can stop or minimize scar tissue forming on wounds, and support regrowth of skin. I wish I had had them several years ago overseas. If you plan to travel in countries with healthcare-of-poor-repute, take some of these with you as they probaby will be hard or impossible to find. If you get in an accident, they can save you from big ol' scars. Happy to have these now for my first aid kit!

    Tegaderm is well worth the cost and takes care of my needs.

    The tegaderm always adheres well after adding your own bandage. Keeps the wound closed off from dirt and moisture. You can take a shower and not worry and walk outside just fine. Really necessary if you need to keep an area clean.

    Protective Dressing

    I love Tegaderm. I used it for burns on my back. My back is very sensitive due to the burns. Regular bandaids just rip my skin off, but these didn’t. I’ve also used them on my aging parent for skin tears. I highly recommend this product!
