I 💗 BARBIE
The Basic Barbie line is quite a bit pricier than the Fashionista line, but the quality of the dolls are that much higher as well. This doll came new in an unopened box and so she was dressed in her original black dress and shoes. Her hair is done in an attractive style and length and she has a very well painted and sweet face. I would have liked her to have earrings, but this line doesn't come with them from the factory. If you want your Basic Barbie to wear earrings, that's something you'll have to buy separately and pierce their ears yourself. Her little black dress is a quality fabric and the stitching is well done, along with a nice pair of black heels. I've seen this particular facial sculpture on a less expensive doll in the Barbie line and I was surprised that the quality of the facial painting was not nearly as good. You really do see an increase in quality with the more expensive Barbie dolls.
