Product Information
Fans of cold-weather sports find international competition in Vancouver 2010, a high-def generation video game based on the 21st Winter Olympics. Focusing on individual events with elements of speed and danger, the game makes 14 separate cold-weather sports are available for play, including multiple modes of skiing and snowboarding, speed skating, and downhill track events such as bobsleigh and luge. A first-person view is available in most events, to further challenge the player's reflexes and to impart a sense of speed. The game has a split-screen mode that allows simultaneous competition by up to four virtual Olympians on the same gaming system. Those with an internet connection can compete head-to-head against another online player, or post their best single-player scores to nation-wide leaderboards. Vancouver 2010 was developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software and published in North America by Sega, the same team that brought the summer Olympics to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 gamers in Beijing 2008.
