Black Sea is a submarine thriller set in the murky depths of exactly where the title says.
A suspenseful adventure thriller centering on a rogue submarine captain ( Jude Law ) who pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumored to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea. As greed and desperation take control onboard their claustrophobic vessel,the increasing uncertainty of the mission causes the men to turn on each other to fight for their own survival. Greed is trumped by honor
Law is superb in this submarine thriller! Dive into the depths with a motley crew in an old rusted-out Soviet submarine in search of every man's desired treasure, GOLD! Suspenseful
This was a very good movie. Suspenseful right to the end. Had quite a bit of vulgarity that I could live without, but the characters weren't choir boys so I guess that's to be expected. Great plot, with many unexpected turns to keep you guessing as to how this was going to turn out. Bear in mind that the actors are Russian and British, so it's not an American movie, but the dialogue was still easy to understand. Kept me entertained throughout.

Story line, events, and characters unreal and depressing to the extreme. Not plausible in submarine environment.
