I Had planned to clean it up and knowing that it was 12+ years old I had a good idea or anticipated what the outside and in would be like upon arrival. Was just as described in the post , cleaned with wire brush and wire wheel to Take off the surface rust . I bought heat paint for it to look a bit newer but was wondering how to clean the “Soot” “Black residue” / Unburnt fuel out of the inside of the muffler without damaging interior components before I primed and paint and installed.
