    Wasn't the right size for my 98 Civic

    I bought this to fix a welded exhaust from the previous owner after buying a brand new catalytic converter on my 1998 Civic CX hatchback. However, the pipe was most definitely the wrong size. The outlet of the converter is ~40mm and this is more like 50mm. The hole pattern was also incorrect. I had to file out the holes to bring each around 1/4" closer to the center. Same on the gasket. This could all be because I have aftermarket parts, but check to make sure this will work for you since I had to spend 2 hours filing this out to fit. Did end up working well after I welded it to the rest of the exhaust, and I passed inspection!

    Most satisfying repair I've made in years

    My pipe cracked right at the flange. I didn't have to cut the pipe at all, I had room to just slide this replacement part over the old pipe with the perfect amount of overlap to put on a 2" clamp. It was so pretty I took a picture. Started the car up and pure silence! Thanks very much again!

    Semi Direct is accurate, could use pipe U-clamp to attach. Appeared good quality.

    I bought this (rear-8047) and the (fwd-8043) to replace the cat flanges on my 99 V6 Accord. This is a pretty quick bolt-on. The front flange required welding.
