The first true sequel for Nintendo's long-running and ultra-popular creature-breeding RPG franchise, Pokémon: Black Version 2 sends players back to the Unova region for more exploration, collection, and turn-based battling. Unova has changed drastically in the two years since the first game, with new towns to explore, new characters, and familiar friends in new roles. Gamers once again take on the role of a Pokémon trainer and travel around the world battling other trainers, interacting with Gym Leaders, and uncovering the mysteries of the Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.<br><br>As was the case in the first Pokémon: Black Version, each Gym Leader controls a stable of themed Pokémon to be captured, with 300 total Pokémon in the game and 22 creatures exclusive to Pokémon: Black Version 2. New features include the Pokémon World Tournament, where players can battle every Gym Leader in a variety of modes, the Hollywood-like Pokéstar Studios, where gamers can make Pokémon films, and the Challenge and Assist modes that raise or lower the strength of rival trainers.<br><br>Pokémon: Black Version 2 is compatible with its co-release Pokémon: White Version 2, as well as their predecessors Pokémon: Black Version and Pokémon: White Version. Gamers who also own a 3DS can download the new Pokédex 3D Pro and play Pokémon Dream Radar to capture Pokémon in the real world using the system's augmented reality function.

    The information in the magazine is very clearly explained and up to date. The magazine did arrive somewhat bent, presumably by the post office, but the seller explained that is he keeps his prices low by not packing the magazines in a box unless the buyer pays extra. That's a fair point. I had failed to scroll down and read all the "small print." I guess even slipping a cheap piece of cardboard in the envelope increases the postage too much. Anyway, I am satisfied with the purchase.

    Sorry for the late review. Been busy with work lately. I'm glad I found you selling this on EBay. I was a fan since the games started on Game Boy, but trailed off after Gold and Silver came out, came back for Platinum and Soul Silver, then trailed off again. My friend who never liked Pokémon at first but now does convinced me to purchase Moon while he got Sun. Needless to say I'm a fan once more! With Black version, I can now transfer Pokémon from Platinum and Soul Silver to Black and then from there to the Poke Bank and then to Moon. Game is in great condition as your item description said. Thanks again!

    Full Roster that is poke bank compatible!

    I was initially worried that the game wasn’t going to be compatible with poke bank but it is! Have to use transporter then bank so can be tedious due to poke bank limitations but nothing bad about the game. So thankful for my purchase. Case looks very nice and game came in with no issues. Was a full 4 days early so very quick delivery.

    I won Christmas 2020

    This made my little brother's Christmas! My family has been on the hunt for this game for over 2 years and this was the only option I found that was complete (case, manual, original cartridge, etc.) at a reasonable price.     A little dated, but still fun

    I've been going through all of the pokemon games from Gen 3 and Black vs. 2 is definitely one of the better ones. It's very similar to vs. 1, but the concept is still very effective. I enjoy the additions that XY brought to the genre (3d pokemon, internet integration, etc.), so it's not the best of the best, but they got a lot of things right in this edition. It's also not Soul Silver or Heart Gold, but if you don't have a lot of money to throw around, it's a solid option.

    Review on Pokémon Black version

    Certainly addicting, this DS game is a must-have for fans of the Pokémon series. There are several features that are new for this long-time Pokémon player (who took a ten-year hiatus from the series). While definitely not worth the $19.99 price tag when I last saw this in stores, it's still a good buy if you find one being sold for under $10.
