A JOLLY ROMP
I've been having a fit of nostalgia lately which has led to me buying up films and some television series to re-watch. This version of "My Family and Other Animals" is the latest and how glad I am that I bought it. My invisible measuring stick judges old productions by whether or not they've stood the test of time and can still look fresh many years later, and this film didn't disappoint me. The characters all charmed me once again, in particular mum and Gerald. Russell Tovey was good in an early role too. All in all this was a jolly good romp around Corfu with some engagingly eccentric characters, and I can recommend this film for viewers of all ages. Happy days.

GREAT FILM!
Loved this movie but the dvd had a minor scratch, which meant I missed the first minute and a half of the film :(. Not a major problem, but would’ve been nice to’ve had a whole movie as the film was throughly entertaining!
