David Attenborough is by far the best in nature documentaries, I cant tell if he is really next to the birds while they are flying or if its super imposed. This set is well worth the price, but I cant watch all of the DVD's in a row its just too much, but its a must have . You'd be "bird-brained" not to buy this
I could watch the Life of Birds over and over again. David Attenborough is riveting as always, and you will see birds you never knew existed, doing things you never thought possible, and things that seem downright insane. You will see how brilliantly designed each bird is, and the specialties each species posesses. For the hours spent capturing all this, I find the series a bargain at nearly any price you find. My only regret is that as far as I know, there is no sequel, as I'm sure tens of thousands of fascinating bird species had to be left out of this one.
