One of the all-time great TV series
just be aware that the early series (which is most of them) predate HD TV, so don't expect miraculous video quality... did a decent job of blu-ray conversion working with what they had.

Intelligent writers credible characters
Realistically portrayed believable stories that make you appreciate just how excellent TV 'whodunits' can be. Well Done, BBC ! Good video quality. We had to return a "bargain" set from somebody else. This one's well worth the few bucks extra . old jim himself

Good crime drama!
Great show. It has good stories and shows the struggle of women coming into the good ol' boy network of the police in Britain.
