In this medieval world-building strategy adventure, you are the leader of a small colony which must compete with two other factions for control of Genesia. Most serious advancements in civilization have yet to be discovered (like iron and the wheel) and resources are scarce. You'll need to build your society from the ground up, inventing tools, creating villages to take advantage of what resources you can muster, and eventually evolve a military force to conquer enemies and protect your own realm.<br><br>You manage your population of farmers, architects, woodsmen, carpenters, inventors, blacksmiths and specialists to insure a strong economy, good storage facilities, and efficient use of raw materials for your inventions that will lead you to success in the quest to rule the world. You'll embark on avenues of colonization, expansion, conquest, diplomacy and exploration in search of the Jewels of Neort which are the centerpiece of the main objective of Ultimate Domain.<br><br>Years before, in a state of misguided love for a treacherous woman, the Prince of Genesia stole the sacred crystals from the tomb of the god Neort. Now the descendants of the god are returning and only one of the three competing colonies can win forgiveness by returning the jewels. Ultimate Domain combines strategy, adventuring and an economic simulation along with multiple win scenarios (be the first to recover 7 jewels or be the only colony left standing through various means such as military superiority, financial conquest or land control).
