i installed in on my truck camper pop-up AC unit colemen cub
I used it a couple times since installed, it was very easy to install. I puts out about a 1 or 2 degree's difference, if you are planning to use this as a stand alone device it will not work like you think, You have to use your furnace to warm up the camper or unit then turn it on and it will keep it from using your LP up during the night , the out side temps got down to 36 and 32, the furnace kick on I think maybe twice during the night it got down to 32 and I believe the LP furnace didn't kick on at all the night of 36. Furnace was set to 70 d at thermostat. when you install it and use it , it has to run for awhile to heat would I buy it again yes it does work and it does save on LP usage. the reason I give it a 4 stars is I would like to see it heat just a bit better ,but then again it works just fine or I would have to get up and turn it off and on again during the night factory support was great

Easy Install
Easy to install. Doesn't put out as much heat as I expected. May be because the "low" fan speed has so much volume of air moving across this coil. The air temp coming out only got up to 81 degrees after 15 minutes. However, that does add some warmth. If you run out of propane, this would help keep one room at a livable temperature.

Heater Element for my Mach 3 Plus, Genius!!!
In doing all kinds of research and watching all kinds of videos and now actually having my hands on the heating element for the Mack 3 Plus, I was surprised how large the heating element was. Something people don’t realize is that no matter what size portable Electric space heater it is, when they all read 1500 watts no matter the size or price, they can only produce 5100 BTUs of heat. This heating element produces 5,600 BTU’s of heat. It took me all of 15 minutes to install. From the inside, you remove the filter return vents and filter. Then you remove the (2) knobs, yes the new unit comes with a new knob for “low heat” setting. Then you remove (4) screws holding the plastic shroud. Pence the plastic shroud is removed then you remove (3) screws in the supply area where you can see the blower fan. Then you remove another (4) screws to remove the bracket that the electrical knob components are. Then you see a yellow/orange sticker telling you where to located the heating element. You blame the bracket in place and tighten the allen head screw. Then you remove the small black cover on the plug where you plug the heater element in and plug the heating element in. Then you begin to put it all back together very easily! The heat it produces is incredible! 5,600 BTU’s of heat that it produces 1,641 watts of electricity. Do the math, if you have one these Mack 3 plus AC units or compatible units for the heating element in your van or RV, add this heating element if you want electrical heat!! It will absolutely out perform any electrical portable space heater!!! This needs to be standard in all units, an extra $45 and you have heat! Keep in mind that my RV furnace, like most, produces 16,000 BTUs of heat so I would never expect that kind of heat from this 5,600 BTU heating element. Lord bless!! Ryan M from Woodstock, GA

Makes a big difference, takes the chill off
Installed this in less than 30 minutes. I camp in the late fall and early winter and did not have to run my gas heater at all in upper 30 degree weather. Makes it easy to stay warm without using up the gas unless it gets really cold.

Added cheap heat
Perfect addition to the AC unit , heats small area such as a bedroom in 5th wheel . wont heat entire rv if temps outside are below 55 degrees but does knock the chill off. well worth and an easy install

Great addition
Works well for what it is. Do not expect a blast furnace, but it is a nice warm air that moves around the camper.

Good product and easy to install
This is a gentle heat. Don't expect this to heat your trailer in the winter! Very easy to install and worth the money!
