Taj at his peak
I first owned this album on vinyl shortly after first came out. One side is nothing but acoustic and the other is electric. Both feature his mellow polished voice. Jesse Ed Davis plays exceptionally well. Six Days on the Road is a masterpiece. I've got several of Taj's albums and have seen him in person. This one is the overall best, with the possible exception of The Real Thing. I keep going back to this one time after time.
