Smart design
I researched these for a bit, as I just use to weld in bungs, but today's pans are getting thinner and did not want to deal with rusting welds up here in the salt belt anymore, since they are putting more and multiple types of chemicals down on our roads these days. Nor did I want to have to paint & repaint whenever it started rusting again. The double seals in this kit should prevent leaks. The crush proof designed nut will keep the o-ring from flattening and getting pushed out. The low profile design allows mounting in shallow transmission pans like the one I installed this in(2012 Jeep Wrangler JK). The only thing I did not like, was how far the brass drain plug sticks out even when tightened down, which could be an issue if anything ever strikes it. Great drain kit

A Must for Automatic Transmissions
