Works for HP ProDesk 600 G4 SFF in a pinch
So this is for an HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF. Antenna kits for the SFF ProDesk are not easy to find outside of HP at an exorbitant cost. I have an HP 600 G4 SFF that came without WiFi. I wanted to use a built in WiFi vs USB dongle or PCIe card. The ProDesk 600 G3 and G4 are the same physical size but the G4 moves the m.2 slot for wifi from in front of the CPU to the far left edge of the motherboard. The metal antennas are the same size and location on the G4 as the G3 so they attach in exactly the same place. The difference is in the WiFi cable (1) length. As the G4 now has the WiFi card on the far end of the motherboard, the routing of the cable is different and the cable that would be supplied in the correct kit (L28965-001) is much longer. Fortunately, the supplied cable in this kit is just long enough to go over the top of the CPU fan shroud directly to the WiFi card with a little slack. It's not pretty but it works! So this is a good alternative to the HP ProDesk 600 G4 SFF and G5 SFF models that use kit L28965-001.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Installs easily, works great.
