If using 16 mm tools with the Chester lathe then I turned 4 mm off the top of tge knurled thumb lock boss to allow the locking screw to contact the height screw in the tool holder. It worked perfectly. Also need to turn up a bush for tge centre of the tool post as tge Chester lathe is a 12mm clamp screw unless you machine up a new height block for this post. Hope that makes sense. Tool holder is a great

Was a bit nervous of ordering as I have Boxford toolpost and I had many from other suppliers that were supposed to be T1 but did not fit. These are great, fit beautifully and nicely made. Only thing I found is the height adjusting locking screw was about 1mm too short, fixed by swapping with an 8mm allen screw. Packed to n'th degree too, so no sharp corners!! V.happy, will get more....

I ordered the two chucks with a promise DELIVERY date of end of August. You can imagine my astonishment at receiving them in 5 days from New Delhi, India to the Highlands of Scotland. The parts are excellently finished, well packed and runout on the lathe appears good. A SUPERB service with great value - VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - AAAAA*****
