The coefficient of friction
The Magura 203mm magura rotor performs superbly on my 27.5 hardtail. This was an upgrade from the stock 180mm Shimano rotor. There is little fade under heavy braking and the rotor provides good heat dissipation with noticeable bite. I've coupled it with discobrakes ceramic metallic pads. Heavier than some brands but true out of the package and is more than capable of standing up to the daily rigors of a PNW commute. Solid and reliable
This is a simple part but Magura’s rotors are some of the best. They don’t warp, they brake smoothly and you can easily bend them to true after a crash or transport.
