I put it on a maxcatch nano fly rod I bought together with it. I have fly fished for close to 50 years. My main rod is a 30 year old 5 wt. Sage rpl+ that I bought new. I love it but wanted a replacement for my G loomis 3 wt rod for small dry flies. This reel fishes as well as it looks...Superb. I truly believe that this Avid Pro reel on a Nano rod is the best deal in fly fishing. Seller immediately responded to the tariff question (no extra $$$ needed) and then later the reel question (I had actually received the correct reel) - all while on holiday!
