It’s right in the exact spot you need to grab to open the knife, shockingly stupid design! It’s one of those decisions you give anything to ask the designer what on earth were they thinking?! Other than that it’s a great little tool. I’d buy it again though and I’d recommend anyone else thinking about it to just get one, you won’t regret it.

So I purchased a right size (3/4 drive 1-1/16" socket) from the same seller. This is one of the best seller I've dealt with in a long time. Not the seller's fault, but it was shipped on the 10th and didn't arrive until the 19th. That makes 10 days for it to make it from NV to PA. After a week, My worn out one failed (drilling bricks) before it arrived so I purchased one at Lowes to finish a tough job. Again, not the seller's fault. Be advised that his price is very good.
