    Small, compact, easily programmable from remote starter to full blown car alarm

    I've been installing alarms/remote starts for the last 20+ years. This unit is by far more advanced then any other unit I've installed. I started with dei products (viper clifford python hornet xpresskit etc etc) and have recently switched over to firstech products (compustar idatalink idatastart etc etc). Not only is this unit a remote starter but you can add everything needed to turn it into a full blown alarm/keyless entry/remote starter. With the on-board immobilizer bypass module there is no need for any external bypass modules...saves the hassle of trying to find another location for a second box. You can even add any rf remote from firstech for long range remotes and 2-way confirmation and also add drone mobile smart phone control and gps. By using a vehicle specific t-harness, the ...

    Start it remote car starter

    This model is very easy to install, because you can buy a T-Harness for it which will allow you to basically plug it into your car system without cutting many wires. So if you are a diy person, buy this product and download the bypass software from their website for your particular vehicle for free and also buy a T-Harness for your particular vehicle.

    Firmware image is not present on the module.

    Firmware image is not present on the module. I assumed since the product description mentions "Selected HONDA ACURA 2008-20" that firmware would have aleady been installed. Not the case. Its useless without the cable required to flash the image for your particular make model vehicle. Firmware is actually VIN specific so, fair warning. I did order a cable, which is another 100$ for the mobile / android version. Since I have a chromebook and dont have a windows pc to use I opted for the mobile version.

    Best remote start on the market.

    I am a Certified 12v Tech that has been installing 12v equipment and remote start systems for 15years and counting, 5 days a week. This remote start is the best out and the remotes and functions are so easy they are even good for the older generations. But, this is not something you can do yourself. It does require computer flashing and an adapter to do so.

    Quick and Easy

    Easy to program and install. I used an Idatatalink ADS-THR-FM8 T-harness to install into a 2015 F-150. Very easy it was plug play.
