Light, but powerful.
The Moto Z Droid can be a power hog. I love my phone, except that I usually have to charge up sometime during the day for fear of it dying. I'd see battery packs for other phones, but they were huge, clunky and very heavy. This TUMI unit is very very light, barely adding any real weight and it's barely thicker than the phone itself. This does mean you'll need a new protective case though. Like all Moto Z mods, it just snaps right on magnetically. The phone instantly recognizes it and allows you to set how it will perform. Now, my phone can go all day without being umbilicalled to my desk or car.The Moto Z Droid can be a power hog. Phone Lasts All Day, Adds a Lot of Weight
The Moto Z Droid has a 2600 mAh battery. That's pretty small compare to most current phones. I knew I would need a power pack. The power pack almost doubles the battery capacity with 2200 mAh. Good: Adds lots of juice for the phone. With light usage my phone lasted well over 24 hours. I did make a few phones calls, checked email for an hours or so, and did some web surfing. Total screen on was probably 2-3 hours. Not bad. Not bad at all. Bad: The power pack adds considerable weight to the phone. If you bought the phone because it's so thin and light, you will be disappointed with the added bulk. I am also unable to find a protective case that goes over the power pack. A bumper case will protect against edge drops, but the power pack will be exposed. I realize that this allows moto mods ... The Moto Z Droid has a 2600 mAh battery. The cost is reasonable compared to any other extended battery. The moto mod design is ingenious and connects solidly. If you can live with the back of the power pack being exposed, this is a great addition to your phone.

Good battery
It works well as a backup battery. I stream radio and Bluetooth all day and holds up till 6 at night. It's scratches easy it's metal. It's not non-slip so slides around easily. I have not tried the Qi charger on it yet just ordered one.

adds plenty of extra battery life
This battery pack charges the phone pretty quickly. If left on all day your phone will maintain the charge. I haven't been able to try the QI charging yet, it doesn't work with the one built into my Escalade. It adds some weight to the phone but not too much. would be better if it could be charged separate from the phone but it doesn't have a plug.

Works as expected.
Makes my phone last almost 2x as long. Although, I could buy a 30000 mAh portable battery pack for the new price of this Moto Mod and charge all of my device's with it. Definitely not worth the new $80 price tag, but if you can find a good deal on a used one you should pick it up.
