    Claiming a Bigger Life

    I once read that the unexamined life is a life not worth living. The contents of this book helps me look at and examine life from the inside out. On page 130, the author states that "we also discovered that there is ONLY one person that can assure that we get the nurturing that we need, and that one person is us." Chapter nine makes it personal and practical in my approach to self examination. "Beginning to deal with core issues " is the title. The media talks about people's civil rights which are absolutely important. Since the wheels of politics creep like a lame snail on a beach during a hurricane, is there some thing else I can do?     Great Little Book

    This book is very informative. It's a book that teaches adult children of alcoholics and adult children of dysfunctional parents & families. It teaches about codependency and how our messed up life came to be. It's the second one I've bought.

    The book came in short order. It is also in good condition, which was important to me. I had read the book before, and I am sure it will help remind me again why it is worth reading!
