    Garmins updated with safe features

    I like this Garmin86 8". I had an earlier version of Garmin However, this one is updated it has some nice features. The screen is large & clear. You have an option to view the screen horizontal or vertical. It is an added security item.

    Could Have Been Better

    The product needs to be more user friendly and affordable. 1. The product requires an external phone to advantage some of its limited features, a big negative. 2. There's a pretty large learning curve involved and it did not come with any real manual for learning. 3. Unlike my smaller Garmin, it can't respond well to command without a phone or I believe that's what it suppose to do once I figure out how. The only plus at this time is the large screen that makes viewing easier and a couple of warning events when it connects to the phone, which does require Bluetooth link from the phone. Overall, I would not recommend the product in its current build. It's too expensive for what appears as nothing more than a clumsy screen to add to a windshield.

    Great unit for a car or pickup truck, but not for an RV

    Great unit for an automobile with a nice big screen, lots of functions and routing capability, complete with the ask garmin voice control package, however, I was looking for a unit that I could customize vehicle specs for a Class C RV unit to avoid low clearance bridges.

    Great GPS

    The GPS connection was easy and all items were in the package with no issues. I have been working on the features and am very happy with a lot of the features. I am so glad and I will be using this as my primary GPS.

    Good GPS

    The only drawback is the mount. The OEM mount is too short, I found another longer arm mount with the adapter for the change in ball size to work better. The operation is very good. My only complaint is the inability to limit the number of items in the "Up ahead" menu
