    Nikon D100 an early classic.

    The Nikon D100 is a very early digital camera it has a modest specification but was made for professional use .and if you don't enlarge your images above A4 size the detail and sharp quality of the image are good. The body will accept the range of Nikon lens' and you can buy them on eBay for under £50. A good back up or start in digital SLR's.

    Great camera

    Really pleased with this camera , it will have limitations. very modern lenses and really old lenses won’t work with the lens , some will work in manual mode only . I’ve had some great results . I was a little worried about the low megapixel count but when I’m viewing the pictures on the iPad iPhone etc I can’t see the difference . It’s interesting to see how Nikon have evolved there body style over the years but it’s still clearly a Nikon . It’s really nice to hold , lightweight but still feels substantial. I actually think it would be a great camera to learn with. There’s only 4 auto focus points in a cross pattern. There’s not many settings to confuse a beginner. If you like lots of features and settings then this camera will not be for you . The screen on the back it’s tiny and low ...

    Asteel at the price paid.

    The Nikon D100 is a great buy. Even though its now an old camera it still performs brilliantly. At the price paid its a fantastic bargain. I love its solid construction and easy to use functions. It has everything I need in a camera.

    Excellent.

    Have used this camera as yet, in the process of getting batteries and memory card, so cannot judge the cameras performance till I finally can use this camera.
