The Agilent 34401A was offered as defective because the buttons on the front panel were not working properly, but after cleaning the button matrix with IPA, the multimeter worked like new again.     Perfect for Everyone

    This machine is as easy to use as it gets for a home-grown audiophile like me; and has features that would make even the fussiest professional happy all day. I bought this specifically for its iPod/iPhone dock, although a little bit worried that it might be a challenge to learn how to use. No worries! The unit was up and running in minutes; and I was able to work through all of its features without the instruction manual just as quickly. My only caution would be to handle the iDock carefully, as it is lightweight plastic and some pressure is required to get your iPod or iPhone seated well. Also, you cannot plug in both a phone and a pod simultaneously; it's one or the other. I'm not sure why you would want to, but in any case, the dock works great! Also, a unit like this should cost ...

    not what i wanted

    If you're looking for a CD player, it is fine, although there are many just as good (or better) at a better price. I was hoping it could serve as an IPOD dock/digital transporter which I could connect to my Wyred4sound DAC but it doesn't work; either with the optical or coaxial output. I use the classic IPODs, with the 30 pin connection, not the lightning; yet it was not compatible to my DAC. So, I ended up connecting it to my Yamaha receiver instead which was not what I wanted. In any case, the TASCAM techs are useless; prior to buying it, I precisely asked them if I could make the desired connection and they were totally misinformed and told me that if I use my IPOD, I could only use the analog out and not the digital outs. In fact, they were only partially right; while I could not ...

    Professional Grade

    Pro CD player. Reads up the discs fast, very solid transport. Cueing from track to track is fast. Sounds great too, quiet background and crystal clear sounding. XLR outputs make it interface perfectly with a pro DJ system.

    Tascam CD 200iL

    Great features, a little learning curve involved when you want to get deep into its many great features. The aux input used with a Bluetooth receiver made it an unobstructed media player since its wireless remote had to pretty direct on to use. In all definitely a nice piece of equipment.
