Easy as pie to retrofit to an old door..
no more having to dangle keys and sort thru them carrying in groceries, give a code to the neighbor when you go on vacation, retrofit your old KW1 keys to the lock and keep those extras hidden. (in case the battery dies) grant and deny access on a whim with a bat to take away the keys. Have a special code for law enforcement for emergency situations. So many things this lock can be used for.. BNB your home or certain rooms.. Best Upgrafe Ever

Good quality, great price!
I was looking for a smartlock after I had the unfortunate experience(s) of locking myself out a couple times. Since I rent, I needed something that could be re-keyed. I researched for many days and settled for this lock since it fit both my needs and budget. It was hard to configure, but we figured it out eventually. I no longer need to worry if I locked the door at night, no more locking myself out, and forgetting something before a trip is no longer a pain! Ditch the keys
Primarily started using these due to a teenager incapable of being given a key without losing it. Have since enjoyed the convenience of not having to pull keys out of pocket ourselves, plus being able to set a additional codes to allow others temporary access to the house without having to change our primary code. The cost-up to add wireless access to these "Connect Ready" devices is prohibitive, but if you're not looking to automate or track status these are great.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great keyless deadbolt
I bought this lock due to the lower cost of other wireless/keyless deadbolt locks. The Kwikset name has been around for many years and of the online reviews it ranks at the top of the keyless segment. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and can say I love it. Easy to lock with one press, and to light it up just press the lock key and enter the code. No issues with using the same button for different numbers either. I would highly recommend the Kwikset 909 for anyone thinking of trying a keyless deadbolt. You will not be disappointed. I also bought a Kwikset door knob and had them keyed the same in under 2 minutes. It's nice having one key for both locks in an emergency.

What a deal

Great lock for any door
We installed this lock for our front door. What we liked about it is the fact that you Re key it to existing quickset locks. Easy to install. And being able to unlock without a key. Plus the ability to create multiple codes for guests. There are no downsides that we have encountered. The only thing is when pouncing in your code if you have the same number twice in a row you have to pause for a second or it doesn't read the code as intended. basic smart lock but mostly reliable
depending on your installation and weather changes, this common lock will do as it promises. unfortunately, the extra cost for the zwave card only nets you lock status and battery charge... it won't tell you when the door has opened or closed. that my be good enough and it works with the ring alarm system. it's easy to set up so I stick with them.Bestätigter Kauf: Ja

Very good lock & easy to install
I think Kwikset is very user friendly when it comes to installation. It's easy to program your codes in. I have one code for myself, one for my daughter, and one for my roommate. Door locks itself after 30 seconds, if you forget to lock it. But it can only do that if you pull the door closed all the way. These are deadbolt. So I switched the bottom door handles to non-locking handles.
