Small, quick, and easy to use USB document camera. Great for remote teaching.
I plugged it into my USB port, installed the Visualizer software, and it was up and running in a matter of minutes. By sharing the window in videoconferencing, I am able to use it all the time to do distance learning with my high school students, and it works great! The only missing feature is a built-in light. The new disrupter to the teaching, presenting, and guidance realms!
The V4k Camera is an excellent tool for a good many applications. I am using it to film time lapse video of me drawing or painting to help my niece who live a few thousand miles away, develop her skills. I think, however that the software (free software) for the V4k is expressional, in disrupting the presentation/teaching arena far out pacing the over head lamp or computer projectors in any learning situation. generally pleased

Just what I needed
This might be an unconventional use, but I'm a piano teacher trying to navigate teaching online. This little camera sits on top of my piano, just like a piano lamp, and gives a great view of the keys and my hands, so I can demonstrate to my students. Great product for online teaching!
I absolutely love this product, the set up was easy once I read the instructions a few times. I use it with a white board from my desk which makes me appear to be in the classroom using the white board there. well, one, it did not come with instructions and was extremely difficult to use. I have had it for a couple of weeks now, it is just sitting in the box. Great little DocCam especially for virtual teaching / meetings.
While this may not have the bells and whistles of some MUCH MORE expensive DocCams, it's highly economical and has great image quality. I can buy 6-12 of these for the price of many other "Super" DocCams.
