    Fantastic cookbook. No need to tweak the recipes.

    Calling All Cooks Cookbook. This is my favorite cook book of all times! I have had 3 of these. One get destroyed, the other the front tore off due to use and now this one. I worked for the phone company and we had some great cooks and they and the ones before us has shared some amazing recipes. We used to have the best company parties where everyone brought a dish and most of those dishes came from this book. One thing I love about it is the recipes are tried and true before they were printed in the book so you don't have to tweak the recipe a dozen times before you get it right. It's perfect from the first try if you go by the recipe.

    A Southern Cookbook to End Southern Cookbooks

    This is the first of three exceptional cookbooks issued by the Alabama Chapter of the SC Telephone Pioneers of America. This book has been through many reissues and is the easiest to find. If you purchase any one of the three “Calling All Cooks” editions, I would recommend this one (“the yellow one”). This recommendation is not because what the second and third book lack, but the breadth and quality of recipes and recollections in this initial book. The second edition (“the red one”) and the third edition (“the blue one”) are each outstanding additions to any cookbook collection as well. They are normally more expensive than this one but worth finding.

    Family Tested Recipes

    Great recipes with clear directions. It is fun learning to cook from different regions of the. United States. The recipes from this book were so often requested in a group on FB, I decided to track it down and get my own copy. Glad I did!

    An awesome cookbook

    I absolutely love these Calling all cooks cookbooks!! They are my favorites! I have not found one recipe that I didn’t like in any of the two books I have from the collection. I have the yellow and blue one. You will not be disappointed with the purchase!!

    Better than expected

    Plastic sealed and over 700 pages. And good recipes, not all just crazy jello concoctions or using condensed soups. Hope to eventually get the other three volumes, there are 4 total!
