    Not as described, definitely not new ,deceptive marketing, scratches dings & broken parts, didn't use shipping box at all just used paper and bubble wrap, absolutely careless ,all corners were smashed on the original box. 0 communication, no wonder his score is low, to bad I didn't check before I bought it. Where does he get a confidence he can get away with it I'm sure i don't know. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

    those are true little gems!

    the binos look and feel quality in my hands. crystal clear optics and the vision is relaxing to the ayes. this compact bino is better than the 10-42 vanguard endeavor 2 ed. I bought along. the vanguard has little bigger fov, but the nikon is so much smaller and brighter. the vanguard is being returned.

    Great optical quality, build is subpar

    The optical quality is good. Similar to the Leica Ultravid 8x20. The build quality, however, is far from top tier. The top cover of the bridge is plastic and there are grind marks on and near the hinges. The coating on the objective and the paint on the body are soft and easily scratched. The ergonomics is bad too. Using the pinky to turn the focus knob is not ideal. It is also quite big and heavy. It is almost like a pair of 8x30.

    Top Notch Pocket Binoculars!

    These little pocket 8x20's are about a good as it gets for 20mm binoculars. I believe these are better than the Leica, Zeiss and Swarovski pocket models. The quality is superb, optically and mechanically. The only thing is the placement of the focus wheel...it needs to be closer to the eyepieces but I'm getting used to it.

    Superb Compact Binoculars

    These little Nikon Premier LX 8x20 HG's are as good as anything coming from Swarovski, Leica or Zeiss...probably better. They are extremely sharp and contrasty. And a whole lot less in cost. Serious binocular people will really appreciate these superb little glasses. The only complaint I have with them is the location of the focus knob. I wish the Nikon engineers would have located them toward the eye lenses instead of the objective side. Other than that, they are fantastic.

    Great optical quality

    I have used larger Swarovski binoculars for many years but find the Nikon 8x20 HGL are virtually optically equal for my use and of course are much lighter in weight, albeit they are slightly harder to hold steady. A great product for convenient use.
