Nice, Waterfall Edge
The sad truth is, all pool equipment bites the dust due to chlorine and sun exposure. I know that I am lucky to get a season or two from a pool skimmer. I compared this new skimmer to another I recently bought, and here’s what I found. - The plastic mesh screening was about the same weight/density and wrinkly (not drawn taut to the frames) for both, and the competitor’s cost considerably less than this one. - This skimmer has plastic shaft, and we do have to sometimes bang the frame against a hard surface to get leaves, bugs, etc. to release from the screen. This no doubt weakens the shaft over time and it breaks. In fact, this is an exact replacement for one where the shaft broke (and it wasn’t that old). The competitor’s skimmer has an aluminum shaft, and to be honest the shaft is what usually breaks after repeated use. - There is a thin or waterfall edge to this skimmer which does well for trying to lift items off the bottom of the pool. The competitor’s skimmer with the aluminum shaft but a rolled edge will be fine for surface skimming (which is where most of the debris is), but will not do well for trying to lift items off the bottom of the pool. Therefore, we are going to use each skimmer for specific purposes; the aluminum shaft for topside and this thin-edge for underwater. Overall I would recommend this skimmer for the reasons above. If you are a pool owner, you can’t expect any kind of equipment to last more than a season or two unless you constantly rinse items with fresh (unchlorinated) water and store out of the sun. These things help extend the life and most of us don’t do that. Opinions are honest and 100% my own. I test items bought at full price and at a discount, and am truthful in both situations (as I depend on the honest reviews of others in making my own purchasing decisions). Heavy Duty Pool Tools
Both tools for about the same as either one would cost individually at the pool store. Best part, no metal on either of these to corrode.

Great product
I revived both of the pieces early. I love them they work great. The leaf scoop made getting the pile of leafs in my pool a breeze. It only took 3 to 4 scoops to remove what would normally take a couple hours. They seem to be very rugged and are a great buy for anyone cleaning there pool

Very easy to use
Does just what it should! Easy to use, picks up even small things in the pool. Definitely will stay with these products.

Pool rake & skimmer
Considering the cost of these two items, you certainly get your money's worth. These tools are very sturdy taking into consideration they are 100% plastic. The netting and the frame are uni-welded together making the replacement of the netting impossible (there is no spline). So, if you're not concerned with your dog or your kids tearing the netting then this is a pretty good value for you!

High Quality Nets
These are not your cheap nets even though the price is cheaper than most. High quality tight weave nets that will pick up small debris as well as leaves and bugs.

Well-made
These nets are such an improvement over the set that came with our pool or than you find at most big box stores. The material stood up to the pool opening...we weren't able to cover our pool this winter and we were impressed that the frames didn't bend and there were no snags. By the way, we paid about half the price than at the pool store.

Nice quality, good price...
Is there more to say? These are sturdy, efficient, and good looking. They do the job and hold up longer than a lot of higher priced products.

Gets the job done.
This is the 2nd one of these that I have owned. It does a great job and covers a lot of area. Only wish it was more durable and didn't need replacement every couple of years, but a this price point, can't complain much.
