Big Eyes is a wonderfully inspring movie!
My family and I really enjoyed this movie. Even if you're not an art fan, underneath all of that is a truly inspiring story about following your heart and your passion..... even when there are obstacles. Amy Adams was very likeable and gave a glimpse of what it was like for women/families in this era. Christof Waltz played such a horrible and believeable character that it stuck with me for a while. Big Kudos for Big Eyes!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! When I was growing up my Nana had 2 big eyes Prints in her living room so I initially wanted to watch the movie out of nostalgia. However, I found myself thoroughly engaged with the characters and the story. I watched it with my husband who also really enjoyed it. The fact that it's a true story just makes it more interesting. I found the acting was very natural and believable. The movie made me feel real emotion which is a good gauge for how well they accomplished what they set out to do. It also elicited a lot of discussion afterwards which I really like. I highly recommend watching this film. EXCELLENT TRUE STORY
I love movies like this, showing the 50's era, and the thinking - so typical. She wouldn't of received the recognition without him. All his salesmanship, and his carisma, that sold these pictures. I had some of these prints long ago. Great movie.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

An Old Keane Fan
We had a few of her pictures in our home growing up. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Margaret Keane. I am SO HAPPY for her new resurgence! Very interesting true story!
Story of a very talented artist, very unique, and that in and of itself is interesting. But to go through what she went through was amazing, especially for that era when women were suppressed. Very encouraging
