Speak up!
I had seen the film before so knew what to expect that way. The trouble is the DVD’s sound quality. It is incredibly quiet. I adjusted the settings, turned the television volume up full - which is three times what I would normally haveit on - and the dialogue was still barely audible. Yes, mostly the actors are speaking quietly or even whispering, but the soundtrack needs to be loud enough not to strain to hear it in a very small, quiet room.

The title fits the movie very well..
Its a great movie and it takes you back to some beautiful days, love it..

Good adaptation
DVD works well and the movie is a good adaptation of Jane Austen's work, in which the ladies wear their hair up and mostly everyone wears hats when they should.
