Entertaining CCW
I think it is "ok" for a concealed DVD.I didn't expect I guy who called himself a "redneck" and dressed like one (I do too).It is a long library of DVDs,7 dvds about 3hours each and covers most of the facts of CCW. Its not much of improvement of being in a class and learning first hand where you can ask questions and feel the power and weight of a gun before you decide if its right for you. I think and video says,that it is good for a beginner or first time gun owner who really has not decided if he wants to carry or not.You still have to go to the range,take the classes to get your CCW.

Concealed Carry introduction and tips
The author has generally sensible ideas, and can explain his point of view. As has been stated, he does repeat and over state his instructions and POV, but not out of line with someone trying to save your life AND keep you out of court for incorrect useage/display of a weapon. I have compared his ideas of use of lethal force to other opinions and actual stated law and he is within the general realm of legal definition. Please check you local laws, especially regarding brandishing a weapon; there is tremendous variability among states. Overall, this series is like your parents' lectures: You agree or disagree with parts. Some you outright reject only to find years later they were correct. This series is not the Bible but will enforce and clarify concepts with skillset, mindset and gear. He does an excellent job of explaining ballistics and why caliber matters less than tactics.

What every CCW holder should view.
Have not completed the whole series of 7 DVD's yet. Content has been informative and timely. Presented in a straight forward manner. Everyone from 1st timer to veteran will learn something new.

excellent fact based information.
The author presents factual information about real world violent encounters. He then provides filters for choosing weapons and gear. He explains why the filters are set the way they are and then allows me to choose my weapons and gear. He sets realistic expectations about the process. I feel empowered to make an informed choice and in fact have changed my carry choice upon review of this information.

If you decide to carry, make sure you train
Haven’t finished all 7 cds yet but I’ve already learned a lot about carrying a weapon for self defense. Not a substitute for live training at a range with an instructor, but covers a lot of important topics that may someday save your life

Good to know
I thought it was great, & well worth the money. Some of the other reviews complained about it being repetitive. Which it is. I think that's how it is supposed to work. It's like brain washing, so you react the right way, without any confusion. That's what the military does in basic training. You can get caught in a serious situation. You need to respond, the right way, so you don't get innocent bystanders, or yourself killed. Be good, & stay safe.

I got a good price. The DVDs are very informative. I have learned things on them that I have not gotten from other sources.
