Direct fit, no issues. Although it's aluminum.
Fit fine, finish and quality is typical ruger. Only complaint is that the adapter is aluminum. That being said, do not go full on with the hardware, you WILL strip it. The fastener does have thread locking compound applied already. So just go to about 16 or 18in lb of torque. I don't have a wrench that goes that low. So i went snug, then another 1/4 turn. Mine may work lose over time. If so I'll take them out, and use red loctite and apply the same low torque. Better to do a job twice, than to have to buy any part twice. Side note, the factory vortex optic cover does not clear the rear sight with this base. It still goes over top of the red dot, but is not seated all the way. So it can come off very easily.

Works like a charm, BUT..
When using to mount a vortex venom, you will probably have to shorten the screws provided by vortex. I ran into this and turned to Google, apparently it's a common problem but it's easily fixed.

Perfect
It is a perfect fit, just need to be careful with the screws since they are so small it can be easy to damage the tread.

Fits the Ruger 57 like a glove
After ordering what was supposed to be the right plate from Optics Planet, of course it was the wrong plate. Got this one, put it on in 10 minutes, and mounted the Vortex Venom, and was ready to sight her in. Get this one for sure.

good product, worked well
worked just like it was supposed to, did have to grind down the screws to attach my vortex viper optic but that is a common issue with the optic screws being too long.

Excellent purchase

Ruger 57 RMR Base
All good for the Ruger 57. Only wish Ruger or a aftermarket company will make a base for Trijicon RMR and the rest of the optics market.
