Best for pistol, scout rifle, CQB
I had high hopes that this sight would be just the answer for a survival / backpack .22 rifle. But difficulty placing the reticle quickly on a 1 inch target made it difficult for me to use for squirrel hunting Best not to place this sight too close to the eye. . A more forward mounting made this much more intuitive to use and in such applications the Delta triangular reticle would probably be more useful, and just as accurate. If possible try it first
If possible try it first. I like it OK & I paid used/demo price.. only if you LOVE it is retail full price worth it. At used/demo price there are 10+ better options, at full retail price there are 100+ better options! It is an OK sight that's performance is extremely comparable to plain ol iron sights that are waay cheaper and possibly already on your gun! Different, but rewards are high once you are used to it.
It is a high sight and looks a little top heavy despite that it is light Wt and does not change the handling characteristics. The sight picture takes a while to acquire but this gets better and faster with practise. The instructions are a bit minimal. They should state clearly how the L-R Up and Down adjustments are made and which direction (clockwise or anticlockwise) is Lt and which is Rt etc. They don't. It raises the accuracy potential a long way. As long as the arrow can be seen and is on the target that's where the bullet goes. I have them on my air pistol and love it. Get the Tritium if you are going to shoot in low light. Otherwise it works very well in daylight. I will buy another sight soon.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Different but Nice!
I have had this optic on a 10/22 folding stock, and a 22/45 LITE and both on rifle and pistol it was very good at 25-30 yards. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it further but I’m confident it can do as well as open sights. The reticle alignment is different but very easy to get used to. I have used multiple micro optics from RMR’s to FastFire III. They are different but I think have their advantages over the micro optic. You don’t loose your over all field of view around the optic the way you do when looking through the small window of an RMR. If you are considering trying one I really think you would find at least one weapon you really like it on. Set screw problem
It is difficult to pick up the triangle especially when doing rapid timed shooting. May improve with time. Did run into a problem with the set screws. I either did not get them both line up on the upper rail portion of the pictinny rail. Initial shooting they came loose and shifted. One of the screws worked it way out into the recessed portion of the pictinny rail. It came out of the base and was unable to get it back into the base. In addition it as to long to fall completely into the slot and allow the unit to be remove from the rail system. Had to take the gun to a local gunsmith to try and remove to screw or going it down to allow the unit to slide off the rail. I have not gotten the gun back from the gunsmith at this time. The set screws needed to be a little longer or shorter. Utilizing a standard pictinny rail locking system would be a vast improvement. Not sure a red dot would not have a better option. There are units for about the same price. Thou not having to deal with a battery was one of the factors in getting the See All Open Sight.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excellent sight, great features at a great value
I bought this at a great deal with the riser, it was a steal. I put it on a tactical shotgun. Works perfectly, had to get used to a new type of sight, but it works very well. Amazing sight
Very easy to sight in and super easy to pick up your target. Perfect backup sight with no batteries!!! It could probably be a primary sight it's so good. I use it on a 45° offset rail right in front of my scope for lightning fast close range acquisition. Better to mount it a little farther down towards the front sight, because it makes the triangle appear much larger and is therefore easier and quicker to locate in your periferal vision when using two eyes open. See All Sight
Must have ambient light from above...useless in dark...get with attached inch rail base for easy set up, I suspect the perfect sight for spring/piston pellet guns...the further away the sight from eye, larger the Delta sighting pyramid gets...alternative version might be be better but have not tried one.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Small and Lightweight
I like the cross hair model of this sight. It is mounted on a Hi-Point 995TS 9mm carbine at the front of the rail. This gives a longer distance from the eye to the sight, similar to the distance sighting a pistol at arms length. I zeroed the scope at 25 yards with the cross hair and at 50 yards tilting the rifle up with the vertical bar fat part of the cross hair at the top of the sight puts the bullets dead on target. It is very light and holds its settings and is much less bulky than the factory sights. It also gathers light well even in a dark covered range house.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
