Rockstar's critically acclaimed series debuts on Xbox One with upgraded graphics, wildlife, and a first-person perspective in Grand Theft Auto V. Players take on the roles of Michael, a retired bank robber dealing with his dysfunctional family; Franklin, a repo man trying to avoid the pitfalls of inner-city life; and Trevor, a psychopathic, drug-addled hillbilly who lives alone in the desert. The main storyline finds all three characters working together to perform a series of increasingly risky heists around Los Santos, Rockstar's satirical take on Los Angeles. Gamers draw up a robbery plan themselves, deciding which personnel to include and choosing whether to go in with guns blazing or take a more stealth approach. Players can freely switch between the main protagonists during heists in order to provide backup, drive a getaway vehicle, or just witness the events from a different perspective, and when not on a mission, gamers can drop in and take control of any of the characters as they go about their daily lives. As characters drive, shoot, and explore Los Santos they gain experience points in a variety of different skills, and each of the three characters has a special ability that can be activated when the action gets heavy. While ostensibly the same city players explored in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto V does away with the former game's facsimiles of San Francisco and Las Vegas and instead offers a much larger world designed to reflect the extreme sprawl of Los Angeles as well as the vast and varied landscapes of California's interior. And that huge game world offers no shortage of extracurricular activities, from criminal behavior like stealing cars and collecting bounties, to business pursuits involving in-game real estate and stock markets, to a wide array of recreational pursuits like hunting in wilderness zones, scuba diving, base jumping, competing in triathlons, playing tennis, and even taking on a full golf course. The developers at Rockstar North placed a great deal of emphasis on improving all aspects of gameplay in Grand Theft Auto V, particularly with regard to combat and driving. They have streamlined weapon management and targeting to make gun battles more fluid and enjoyable, while vehicle physics have been refined to make driving sequences feel more like a racing game. And multiplayer action returns with Grand Theft Auto Online, in which gamers can join Crews of friends to take on a variety of modes and missions.

    Nicely packed and as described. When I opened the game box I was pleasantly surprised to also find the Dracula 3 game and manual inside in addition to the Dracula Origin game!!! Ka-ching. That totally made my year! The only issue that I have is that it took 5 days from placing the order until USPS took possession of the package. There may be extenuating circumstances so I will give the seller the benefit of the doubt. However, if you're in a hurry, Caveat Emptor. Still, overall I give 5 stars!!

    Best game ever!

    I love this game and series. The story mode is unique and has variety since you can play it as multiple characters and redo any portions of it or just go about freely in story mode or multi-player. Multi-player is constantly updated with FREE DLC--some very major ones. The game also offers special offers, discounts, and double rewards for various missions on a changing basis. There is no need to "pay to win" as simply playing the game wisely gives you rank and plenty of money. There are so many types of activities to do in the game that aren't just shooting, but there is plenty of that available, too! The vehicles are great with lots of realism in looks, stats, and driving capabilities, but there is some fiction thrown in as well! The characters have a wide range of customization ...

    Grand Theft Auto V

    Love playing this game. It actually kind of show real cars, weapons... Love how the way the police cars look. The graphics are outstanding. I play this game all the time. My favorite thing to do in this game, is driving police vehicles and chasing bad guys down. I like playing tennis. I wish the game let players play basketball. But, the game is really fun to play. I wouldn't mind playing this game everyday.

    Smooth Game Play, but Lacking in Plot Depth and Development

    The gameplay is definitely an upgrade than previous games, but the story line and the script is a bit much sometime; too over the top and over-stereotypical. The story seemed typical and predictable; the wheel was not reinvented. Especially the opening seen... horrible choice of events to open a game with a bank robbery. During some missions there are restrictions on how to complete it, and some missions feel repetitive. Also too much profanity for me, it gets too intense haha. Which I know that is what RockS is famous for, but I thought they coulda been a little more creative. They are some smart people Rockstar, but they could have been smarter, not tougher.

    Classic game.

    This game is fun weather on story mode or if you just want to explore and go crazy. Not meant for younger kids. Lots of explicit content and vulgar language. Not for the faint of heart.

    Very good

    I gave this game to my friend and he has no problem, I got it for a GREAT deal and it had nice packaging, no scratches but I noticed some sort of tape on the front, not like it bothered the disc but just confused, otherwise great!
