The cheapest is never the best
I purchased the Mira replacement shower head as I had tried other types before and was very disappointed in their performance and quality so this time I replace the shower head with the manufacturers replacement part. The quality of the replacement head was obvious from the time I opened the packing and after fitting it I was astounded at the performance I had been missing. This was not the cheapest but it is defiantly the best so saving a bit of money is not the best option and I will not be using anything other than the original parts from now on. Like buying a new shower - but much cheaper!
Our Mira shower is about 25 years old and the for the last few years the water has come out more in drops than a proper spray. I thought it time for a new shower but decided to try a new head first - much cheaper - and I'm glad I did as it has returned it to the shower I knew and loved over twenty years ago. Very easy to install (no tools needed) and a perfect fit. Only one small point - the colour. Mira Shower head.
It’s very nice, easy to clean and I like all the settings. My old one was still working fine but I thought I would replace it. After 35 years!!! you could say Mira make things to last. You can see how old our shower has been in we have gold fittings!!!!!!

Recommended for Mira electric showers
It is the right product for my Mira Shower as recommended by Mira. I have used other shower heads and they have caused problems. This one allows the correct flow with the four adjustable spray settings. One of the settings is for economy flow and the other three various spray patterns. I find in my very hard water area that the head needs to be descaled on a regular basis (3/6 months) the head does not come to pieces so can be a time consuming chore and ultimately after a few years I replace the head.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Poor power
I bought this to replace my Mira Sport electric shower. The problem with this head is either the spray holes are a fraction bigger or there's more holes in this new one. The result is less pressure from this head. We tried all the combinations, 4 settings. 3 of them had no force to project the water far enough away from the wall, the 4th setting wouldn't be used because it just covers to small an area. We put our original Mira sport he'd back on and it sprays the water a good 12 inches further out, so we're just keeping our old discoloured one now. The new head would be great with a power shower or higher water pressure but if you haven't got a lot of pressure like me, then avoid this head and buy something with less holes or smaller holes.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Quality product, reasonably price, which is what everyone wants.

Living on the name, don't be fooled
Expensive with 5 settings of which 4 are the same. The one with a bit of pressure has a narrow spread. I've bought cheap 7 setting heads that are great until the nozzles get hard and split. I shall goback to them and buy one per year. What a joke. Does anyone produce a proper head with pressure and proper nozzles that last ?
