As good as it gets for an AFL game.
AFL Evolution builds on the strengths of AFL Live 2. While the gameplay is largely the same philosophy, the graphics, gameplay, and game modes are have all been improved. It is now possible to handball, and play a running game, which was never realistic in previous games. While 'spoiling' is still useless, it is now possible to 'wrestle' for a mark when it is in the air, which adds a great element to this game. The graphics, while being a step up were still underwhelming given some amazing work on other titles, but player likenesses are more or less en point, which makes it fun for showdowns. Overall this is as good as it gets for an AFL game. It still has its issues (penalties are still arbitrarily awarded for "high" tackles) but it is an 'evolution' on every other AFL game to date. Worth $50 brand new, but not $100.
