THIS IS A MOVIE, FROM 2019. IT IS A MODERN UPDATE, OF THE STEVEN KING STORY, FROM THE 1980'S. IT IS A REALLY GOOD, REALLY SCARY MOVIE, TOO. IT IS ALSO A VERY SAD MOVIE, AT THE SAME TIME. THE STORY, IS CLASSIC STEVEN KING. WATCH THIS MOVIE. THANK YOU.

This Pet Sematary digs its own grave!!
I hate to disagree with others, but this DVD will be one I try to pass on to a friend. [Hopefully, they will still be a friend after they watch it!!] There is 30 years between these movies. I love everything about the 1989 movie from Church to the parents to the kids to Judd across the dangerous highway.The story line is too different. It makes the movie choppy!! Where are the Grandparents? Where is Gage chasing Judd around with the sharp instrument from his dad's bag? As far as I'm concerned, you can bury this DVD in a real cemetery!! THUMBS DOWN!!!

good movie
I saw the original ( awesome ) so I had to get this , as with many new versions of a great movie its hard since you are expecting something great , but this was well done , I didn't recognize john lithgow until I heard his voice ( he did a great job here ) . There is a pet semetary 2 but I would be surprised if its as good as this one !

Darker than the first movie or the book.
I was engaged throughout, thinking I knew what was coming. I had read the bood and had seen the original movie. I was wrong. This is a very different film than what I was expecting. Much darker. Can't say how without ruining it, but the end is nothing you've seen before. Small spoiler here. When Church dies, it happens off camera. I am grateful for that. Worth a watch

Good value
I was surprised when the DVD arrived in a cardboard cover but it was excellent quality in video and sound.

Surprising ending, not like the original movie but a good one.
I don't think there was anything bad about this movie, was just not expecting what happened & it was suspenseful. I loved that it wasn't the same as the 1st one in some scenes.

Pet scary sematary
it was good, but not great. just like an earlier film also based on the Steven King novel Pet Sematary this movie did not measure up to the novel. it was however an interesting remake, I will definitely recommend it to those people who love really creepy horror movies, or movies based on Steven King novels.

Pet semetary
I just didn’t like the way they changed the story. The ending was terrible. I loved the service and price of this product.
