Stunning, Engaging and Essential
While the new Rebuild of Evangelion movies are excellent, any fan of Anime should watch the original series, and this includes the full 26 episode arc plus the "recap" Death and Rebirth movie as well as "The End of Evangelion" which wraps up the series. While Eva is an Anime and sometimes categorized as a Mecha-Anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion transcends labels and genres with incredible character development, fascinating character/creature designs, a deep and unexpected storyline and absolutely impeccable direction. The composition of certain shots is just breathtaking. For any fan of Anime this is a must have, but for any fan of quality film it's just as essential.

Amazing Classic Anime!
Waited 30 years to see an anime from 38 years ago [learned of it in 1991 when Ibwas 13, am 43 now in 2021] and FINALLY found it English Subtitled on DVD. ---Show is awesome and is the first Isekai type anime made with mecha. The DVD Set I bought is great and a great show I'd recommend classic anime ppl like myself or modern viewers who appreciate classic anime.

Cheap case/ Good anime!
Realistically I would this 3.5 stars because because the packaging is cheap and a piece of plastic chipped while being shipped. The DVDs also spilled out when I opened the case. The subtitles are pixelated and also dont match the English dub. Overall though, you can't beat the price. You what you pay for. I love this series so I'm glad to own it at such a low price.

Love!!!
The subtitles are a bit different than what is on Hulu. Still it's great. I've been a Sailor Moon fan since it first came out in the US with DiC. This series is just as good and engaging as all the past seasons.

Another classic
Glad to have this classic as part of my collection enjoyed s-cry-ed when it was on tv forgot about it for years after it went off from tv so when I got older and started too buy anime movies and seasons I finally saw this for a good price and was nice too grab it up

“Lightweight with great feature
It was really entertaining when the plots gets you, the suspense is reluctantly great of old time crime anime 💯💯💯💯‼️‼️

Best thing to get next to the actual thing!
you can tell that there was alot of care put into this. If you want to just watch the seires/films (just watch the 2nd movie(im saving you 2hrs of your life.)) dud or sub, this is the thing for you! Does tend to skip or pause a few times other than that its great!

Awesome!!!
I still remember watching Fist of the North Star when I was still in my teens it never gets old I am glad it came on DVD,great movie!!

One of the greatest anime series ever.
Great storyline. Great subplots. Great character development without the extras. This is a must have for any anime collector.
