Sent to the 'Ministry of Love', he is placed at the mercy of O'Brien (Academy Award nominee Richard Burton, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), an imperious leader determined to not only control his thoughts but crush his soul. Scary as its coming true.
It was a tail of forward thinking at its best. Considering the book was released in 1949, to predict the future so far ahead is truly amazing. Who would have thought that a fiction tale would become a non-fiction tail. Outstanding for its time.
