Classical, and classy.
If you appreciate classics , then I highly suggest you buy the Classic Horror Collections that are out there ! The special effects were very limited back in the day, so these movies had to create an "atmosphere" of creepy to get you in the scaring mode . Unlike todays horror genre, you will not see a lot of gore, or blood, but if you like a good movie, which tried to ensnare you with a setting, then these are exactly that! Black and white, yes, unapologetically so, and still to my taste stands out above most of todays horror films. The atmosphere the Mummy Legacy offers is amazingly well done , I highly recommend these collections to know where the modern remakes are coming from, and how the atmosphere was done so well, in a world of gone by artistry.

Add a mummy to your horror collection.
This is a great buy since I didn't just get the original, but their sequels as well. Boris Karloff is great as the Mummy, though my favorite is Edward Van Sloan who of course also plays Dr Van Helsing in the original Dracula. The story is very good for back when this movie was done, in the story of how the mummy came to be as well as his capabilities like controlling others.

They don't make them like this no more
I love the old movies I am only 54 but I grew up watching actors like Bells Lugosi, Lorn Chaney, Boris Karloff. If only I could go back in time. But since that is impossible the next best thing is to purchase movies of your favorite era, I definitely recommend the Legacy Collection you will not be disappointed I still have to buy more to complete my collection

Universal Horror, can't go wrong
Bought this to add to my legacy collections of Frankenstein, Dracula and The Wolfman. The packaging is very nice. The quality of the films are good as is the sound. If you grew up watching the classic universal creatures then this is a must have.

You won't be disappointed.
This was the original Mummy movie produced by Universal Studios and by far the BEST. There was no one like the Great Karloff. Entertaining and engaging, Worth your time.

Original Classic
At the time it was made it was a groundbreaking film, it remains my favorite movie of all time, and though it has been remade many times the original is still the best version.

There are 5 movies on 2 discs. The discs played fine. There are extra features like discussing how the movies were originally made.
